Autogusset Kits

75mm Head Conversion 51-515/1-6 November 2006 1003
Function:

To convert existing 90mm, 100mm, 114mm Autogussets to 75mm turret heads. With the 75mm Autogusset only requiring 60mm wide gusset material, a significant saving can be made over the larger diameter machines. The 75mm (Mini) Autogusset is increasingly in demand as new yarns and styles are developed. Sheer to waist (nude) and bikini pantihose demand a smaller gusset whilst maintaining and improving the garments quality and appearance.

Models covered by kit:- Autogusset Mk III

Function:

To stop the machine when the gusset material is not picked up by the clamps or is finished. This simple modification had been produced so that you are not reliant on the operator seeing when the gusset material is finished. This modification means that the machine will not index until the new material is fitted, thus saving second quality goods being produced.

High Resistance Burner Wires 51-617/1-6 November 2006 1006
Function:

To fit high resistance ribbon wire to hole burner and gusset stations.Fitting the ribbon wire means an end to constant adjustment of the hole and wires size and shape when changing styles. The ribbon wire operates at higher temperatures, and will also not bend or deflect when heavier denier pantihose is being processed. This means increased reliability, flexibility and speed of style changes.

Machined Clamp  51-636/1-4 November 2006 1002
Function:

To simplify the setting up of the machine and increase reliability. These new Autogusset head clamps are machined from solid aluminium to the exact shape of the turret head. This means that once they have been set during the installation the shape of the clamps does not require adjustment. The adjustment of the clamp pressure is also improved and is set by means of a machined slide which is screwed in place - no more adjustment by bending the clamp arms and shafts.

Inverter wind on   66-525/3-4 November 2006 1011
Function:

To wind the pantihose onto the leg tube faster and more accurately.Fitting the inverter to the wind on No 1 gives you a two speed wind on.The first “high speed”  means that no matter how long the pantihose is it will be wound on just far enough to allow the second “slow speed” to operate for a short a time as possible, whilst accurately positioning the hose.Accurate high speed wind on without having to reset times for style and size changes.

November 2006 1012

Clamp Arms 95-189/1-4 November 2006 1027
Function:

To replace existing worn clamp arms on Takatori LC 320.The replacement clamp arms from Textile Automation Sales Ltd have two significant benefits over the existing arms supplied with the machines.

  • The clamp rubbers (which run the whole length of the arm) are replaceable on site by the customers technicians, and do not need to be returned by the supplier for re-rubbering.
  • The lower arm is made from steel to ensure it never bends, and the upper arm is made from aluminium so that it can form itself to the lower arm to give consistent clamping.
